I can’t get on top off this sore left heel. Running the 3,000 meter test last night flared it up again. My latest attempt at a cure is kinesio tape which should provide some support and stimulate healing. The alternative is to stop running for a bit. With two races coming up this weekend, that will have to wait.
For this taping, I’ve used two 12″ pieces of k tape. One is run along the bottom of the foot, starting at the ball, following the plantar fascia, over the heel and up to the achilles tendon. The second piece goes laterally around the heel.
