Skate over-distance

The guns were blowing at Weston this morning for a 30km, slightly-less-than 2 hours of over-distance skate skiing. “Over-distance” means you go relatively easy and focus on skiing a clean technique to reinforce the muscle memory so that when you’re hammering, your body knows what to do. By the end I was crusted over with ice, looking and feeling like a glazed donut, quite tired.
